Five nights at Freddy's is a highly-acclaimed indie point and click adventure game developed and published by Scott Cawthon of Fullbright. It's his fourth installment in the Five Nights At Freddy's series. This time around, you will find 3 teenagers - Jason (Dylan Minnette), Billy (Ben Myers), and Freddy (Nathan Fillion) who have just gotten a job at the Freddy Fazbear's Pizza outlet in Fazbear City. The first nightthey are just about to go on a visit to the playground in which Freddy conducts his restaurant. Freddy is a fan of films like"A Nightmare On Elm Street", so he is excited about seeing it .
After settling their money, they head out to Freddy's Pizza on the night that he is advised to begin his series. They're dressed up to impress, as Freddy is a very famous artist. The doors of his office are open, but as Jason and Billy rush in, Freddy grabs them. Jason and Billy operate out, while Freddy opens the doors of his office. Inside, Freddy takes his mask off, revealing his true identity - Freddy Kruger.
Freddy immediately begins to attack Jason and Billy. Freddy uses his magic powers to turn people into stone or to make different things move on their own - such as a truck in front of Jason. He also makes Jason feel sick. Freddy also uses his capacity to control people, such as when he makes Jason believes he's having a heart attack.
Freddy is even more terrifying when he touches Jasonturning him into a skeleton. Jason is able to fight back, but with his special powers of telekinesis and his voice. Jason manages to grab Freddy, but Freddy uses his power to throw Jason into a different dimension. Jason gets his memory back and heads back to Freddy's Pizza.
But, Freddy has an ulterior motive - to get back at Jason and Billy for kidnapping him and breaking his soul. If Jason kills Billy or Jason, he'll end up with a trophy. So, Jason and Billy visit the pizzeria to find their killer...
Five nights at Freddy's turns the regular point and click action game in the previous games to some full-blown horror experience. The graphics are amazing. The audio is great. The voice acting is excellent. But, there are a number of glitches in the storyline.
Freddy is always around, but he never attacks Jason or Billy. Freddy is simply a background character. Jason and Billy find out that the animatronic dolls are in fact fake, and that Freddy has a grudge against them. Jason and Billy have to find out what happened to Freddy and stop him before it is too late.
While the narrative of Five Nights at Freddy's is a fascinating one, it might not be the best one around. Because of the way the game was put together, the events which happen may seem unnecessary or confusing at first. But once the story and the figures are freddy games 4 clarified and the plot starts to fall into place, the game begins to make sense.
